Nasrec Memorial Park has been temporarily closed as tight security measures come into force around the G20 summit precinct in Johannesburg. Funeral directors say services booked at the cemetery are being diverted to Fourways Memorial Park, warning that the disruption may leave families facing delays and added emotional strain.

Road closures on Rand Show Road, Nasrec Road, and parts of the Golden Highway have effectively sealed off access to the site. Authorities say restrictions will remain in place throughout the summit period, with normal operations expected to resume once the security lockdown is lifted.
