Siyabonga Gezani Ndimande and Malusi Dave Ndimande landed in South Africa today after being extradited from Eswatini following their withdrawal of an appeal. Authorities say they face multiple charges including murder, attempted murder, conspiracy, and unlawful possession of firearms in relation to the killings of AKA and Tibz. AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes, was a popular South African rapper, while Tibz, or Tebello Motsoane, was a well-known chef and music promoter.
The brothers will appear in the Durban Magistrates Court and are expected to be held under high-risk escort by the South African Police Service. Investigators are also probing alleged links between the suspects and a separate taxi-boss murder in Amanzimtoti, Kwa Zulu-Natal.
