Pieter-Steph du Toit has been named on the 2025 shortlist for the World Rugby Men’s 15s Player of the Year, joining Springbok teammates Malcolm Marx and Ox Nché as well as France’s Louis Bielle-Biarrey. The winner will be announced on Saturday, with du Toit again recognised as one of the game’s leading forwards.

The Springbok star, who previously won the award in 2019 and 2024, now stands alongside greats such as Dan Carter and Richie McCaw in chasing a third title. His nomination underscores his continued impact at the highest level and the central role he plays in anchoring South Africa’s dominant pack.
