A SANDF sergeant has been arrested in Limpopo after allegedly attacking a 61-year-old man with a wooden pick handle at a home in Tshirenzheni village.

Police say the victim was asleep when the suspect arrived shouting and struck him on the head, causing serious injuries. The 42-year-old, stationed at Vuwani Military Base, is expected in court on an assault charge.
