Umlazi Arrests as Four Face Murder and Rape Charges

KwaZulu-Natal police say four suspects were arrested in Umlazi in separate operations by the Provincial Tracing Team on Tuesday, 30 December 2025. The arrests relate to cases including murder, attempted murder, rape, and house robbery.

SAPS says one suspect allegedly stabbed a man during a house robbery, raped a woman, and stole her phone. The suspects are expected in the Phungashe and Umlazi Magistrates’ Courts on Friday, 2 January 2026.
