Women For Change will hold a national G20 Women’s Shutdown on Friday, urging women and LGBTQI+ people to step back from all forms of work to highlight how much the country relies on their labour. The action is timed for the eve of the G20 summit in Johannesburg.

Supporters are encouraged to wear black, join a short midday lie down in honour of victims of gender based violence, and press for the crisis to be formally declared a national disaster.
