World Walker Nears Home After 27-Year-Journey

British adventurer Karl Bushby is nearing the end of his 27-year quest to walk an unbroken route around the world. He set out in 1998 and has covered almost 50 000 km across 25 countries, with roughly 1 500 km left before reaching his hometown of Hull.

Bushby’s Goliath Expedition has taken him through deserts, jungles, and conflict zones. He says nearly everyone he met showed kindness, challenging assumptions about a dangerous world.
