Jo’burg Storms Drive Wildlife Into Suburban Gardens

Johannesburg’s recent storms are pushing more wildlife into residential gardens as heavy rain and flooding damage nests and displace animals, according to a new report.

Wildlife rescuers say residents are increasingly finding drenched birds, fallen chicks, and injured animals in backyards, and urge the public to contact rehabilitation groups rather than handling wildlife without advice.
