Canada sees the USA as the bigger threat; the UK and Australia see China as roughly double the risk.
Data is from YouGov's International Flagship Survey (17 June–1 July 2026), with samples of roughly 2 000 – 2 300 adults in each of the UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany and Poland. Respondents rated the USA and China as, among other options, "generally a hostile threat" to their own country.
