In Johannesburg, 87% of black respondents said South Africa is going in the wrong direction, while 11% said it is going in the right direction. Among ANC supporters in that city, 86% opted for “wrong direction”, while 7% said “right direction”.
In Tshwane, 59% of black respondents said South Africa is going in the wrong direction, while 34% said it is going in the right direction. Among ANC supporters in that city, 29% picked the wrong direction, while 58% thought the country was moving in the right direction.
