The Border Management Authority says officials intercepted 33 undocumented children aged between four and 15 at the Beitbridge Port of Entry on Tuesday, , after stopping and searching a Zimbabwe registered minibus taxi travelling from South Africa to Zimbabwe.

Two Zimbabwean men, aged 23 and 32, were arrested for allegedly facilitating the illegal movement of the minors. The children were handed to the Department of Social Development for processing under child protection protocols, and the suspects are expected to appear in court this week.
