SANDF Deploys Helicopters for Urgent Rescue in Limpopo Flooding

The South African National Defence Force has deployed helicopters to support urgent search and rescue operations in flood hit parts of Limpopo, after heavy rain cut off communities and damaged access routes.

SANDF says three helicopters from Pretoria and Hoedspruit were used in missions from late 14 January into 15 January, lifting people from danger areas as conditions worsened.
