In this clip Frans Cronje unpacks how the doom-mongering by the legacy media about the current state of the world is completely misleading. He begins his argument by showing how the global economy today is better than it has ever been and how there are now less people living in absolute poverty than there has been in any point of human history. From there he explains how it is extraordinary that there is an abundance of economic opportunity for individuals given by how much the human population has grown. Frans finishes his argument by highlighting how the cost of light is the best of human prosperity, as it has gone from taking hours of labour to afford a single hour of light in the evening to milliseconds in the modern day.
