Durban Point Liquor Outlet Raided as Alcohol Seized

A multi-agency operation in Durban’s Point precinct targeted non-compliant liquor outlets on Tuesday, 30 December 2025, with Durban Metro Police reporting a major seizure at one outlet.

Police say 2 904 units of alcohol worth about R60 500 were confiscated during the raid, involving SAPS units, the KwaZulu Natal Liquor Board, and other departments. The operation focused on alleged breaches of liquor and metrology laws.
