Eastern Cape premier Oscar Mabuyane has ordered an investigation into two public hospital CEOs after Israeli officials visited state health facilities without national government approval.

The delegation included Israeli foreign ministry official David Saranga and visited Mthatha General Hospital and Nelson Mandela Academic Hospital following a trip by Thembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo to Israel.
