KZN Health Vows Zero Tolerance After Employee Charged

KwaZulu-Natal’s Health Department said it has a zero-tolerance stance after an employee was charged following an incident involving a departmental vehicle on the N2 near Ellingham, Park Rynie.

The department said the employee faces charges including drunk driving, reckless and negligent driving, excessive speeding, fleeing officers, and illegal firearm possession while allegedly under the influence. It has launched an internal probe.
