Matric Pupil Writes Final Exams From Hospital After Surgery

An IEB matric pupil, Andrew Holtzhausen of St Benedict’s College, wrote his final papers from a hospital bed less than a day after emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix, according to reports.

With IEB approval and supervised conditions, he completed English Paper 2 and Visual Arts while recovering, choosing to push through rather than defer the exams.
