Saudi Crown Prince Visits White House For High-Stakes Talks

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with President Donald Trump at the White House today in his first US visit since the 2018 killing of Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi dissident journalist. The meeting centred on defence co-operation, including a proposed sale of up to 48 F-35 fighter jets, along with talks on artificial-intelligence and nuclear energy partnerships.
