KwaZulu-Natal is bracing for more severe thunderstorms after the South African Weather Service issued a Level 4 warning for much of the province from Monday into Tuesday. Heavy rain, hail, strong winds, and flooding are expected in districts such as Amajuba, uThukela, uMgungundlovu, Zululand, Harry Gwala, and Newcastle.

Some areas, including Newcastle, have already experienced flooding from earlier storms. Authorities are urging residents to stay indoors where possible and avoid crossing flooded roads or bridges, with more dangerous weather likely to continue into Tuesday.
