Trump’s Air Force One Turns Back After Electrical Fault

Air Force One carrying President Donald Trump returned to the Washington area on Tuesday night after the White House described a minor electrical issue shortly after takeoff, with the aircraft landing at Joint Base Andrews as a precaution.

Reports citing the travelling press pool said cabin lights briefly flickered or went out. The White House said Trump later continued to Switzerland for the World Economic Forum on a different aircraft.
