Car Plunges 100m Off Chapman’s Peak Drive, Rescue Underway

Emergency crews were deployed after a vehicle left Chapman’s Peak Drive on the Noordhoek side and fell about 100m onto rocks below, with one person initially reported trapped in the wreckage.

Chapman’s Peak Drive was closed in both directions during the operation and later reopened. Western Cape EMS said one patient was rescued and taken to hospital, while a second person was treated at the scene.
