US lawmakers have passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act, compelling the Justice Department to release a wide set of records including FBI material, court documents, emails and flight logs linked to Jeffrey Epstein. The bill received broad bipartisan backing and now awaits President Donald Trump’s signature.

Trump, who previously resisted full disclosure, has in recent days urged Republicans to support the release and says he has nothing to hide. Recent document batches have already included Epstein emails referencing Trump, prompting renewed scrutiny of how he has described his past relationship with Epstein as more files prepare to become public.
