City of Tshwane officials and the Tshwane Metro Police shut down a suspected brothel in the Pretoria CBD after an inspection at the Savoy VIP Lounge, concealed behind a sports bar.

Mayor Nasiphi Moya said dozens of foreign women were found in individual rooms, with some lacking valid documentation. She said rooms were rented for R1 000 a week and the premises was closed.
