An Eastern Cape conservationist is appealing for public support to strengthen anti-poaching patrols and protect rhinos in a region where illegal hunting remains a threat.

Justin Terblanche, described as an anti-poaching worker, has launched a crowdfunding drive to buy a thermal drone for night surveillance. He says the equipment would improve early detection and help keep patrol teams safer.
