Four international tourists were rescued on Table Mountain after missing the last cable car when operations were reportedly halted due to strong winds. Rescuers found the group cold but uninjured near the upper cable station.

Wilderness Search and Rescue and SANParks guided them down Platteklip Gorge with torches and warm jackets, completing the descent just after midnight.
