A 29-year-old Mpumalanga woman, Melissa Vice, appeared in the Witbank Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 29 December 2025, charged with the murder of her brother-in-law, Willie Visser, 25.

Police say Visser’s body was found in bushes near the Seekoeiwater plots on 16 December. The case was postponed to 14 January 2026 for a formal bail application, and the accused remains in custody.
