Limpopo police arrested a 28-year-old suspect after he allegedly offered officers a R10 000 bribe during an operation linked to illicit cigarettes and suspected vehicle document fraud.

Police refused the bribe and opened additional charges, with reports saying investigators found signs that vehicle documents had been tampered with. The suspect appeared in the Senwabarwana Magistrate’s Court.
