Deputy minister of sport, Peace Mabe, says South Africa is ready to host the Women's Africa Cup of Nations after Morocco reportedly withdrew, according to reports.

But sports minister Gayton McKenzie later said no formal relocation decision has been taken, Morocco remains the designated host, and Confederation of African Football has not activated an alternative hosting process.
