44% of South Africans say President Ramaphosa is guilty of a crime in the Phala Phala case. Only 12% say he is innocent. That is a 4-to-1 split against him. 40% say he has a case to answer and must testify in public. 81.7% say he must leave office if found guilty by Parliament or a court. Support for removal is high across all groups: 80% of black voters, 85% of Indian voters, 82% of white voters and 94% of coloured voters.

72% say the DA is right to call a motion of no confidence. 40% of all voters say South Africa would be better off if he leaves office. Only 19.5% say it would be worse. Among black voters the split is clearer: 43% better off, 21% worse off. The poll shows the public no longer sees a clear difference between Ramaphosa and Zuma on corruption. ANC support is down.
